Join Wendy (editor of Sunflower Publishing) and Karen ( creative writing tutor) on 7-night creative writing retreat on 17 -24 May 2025 in a luxury villa near Pescara. (Abruzzo) * Interactive morning workshops on creative writing and publishing. Advice, tips on how to plan your story, build your characters and develop your plot * Take part in live Q & A sessions with celebrity published authors and industry professionals. Find out about their writing journey, learn more about the industry and apply their tips to your writing process. * You are free to write as much or as little as you want. It’s the perfect place to focus on creating your story.

Cancellation Policy

TERMS & CONDITIONS In making a booking for the Creative Writing Retreat, you agree to the following terms and conditions: Bookings All bookings must be accompanied by the appropriate deposit (£400) Your booking is not definite until we have confirmed it by email and payment received. The balance of your fee is payable no later than one month before the retreat starts. Sunflower Publishing will send you an invoice for the remaining fee. Unpaid or late balances may be treated as a cancellation. If we do not receive your balance when it is due, we reserve the right to offer the place to someone else. Travel insurance We cannot reimburse travel costs or other losses incurred by you in the event of cancellation by us or you. We recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover potential loss arising from cancellation or other eventuality affecting your booking, including reimbursement of fees, travel or other costs. Cancellations Cancellations of bookings will be accepted up to one month before the retreat takes place. Your deposit will be returned less a £50 cancellation charge. We will retain the full deposit if you cancel your booking after this time. For cancellations later than one month, we will do our best to find someone else to take your place and, if we succeed, the balance of your fee (less the full deposit) will be returned. If we cannot re-fill your place, we will retain the full fee. ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES Sat 17th May - You will be notified of a time and the meeting point for either Pescara train/coach station or Pescara airport Sat 24th May – the villa must be vacated at 10am. You will then be transported to either Pescara airport or Pescara train/coach station Transfers If you are unable to attend you may - with our written agreement - nominate someone else in your place and transfer any deposit and fees you have already paid. Smoking Smoking is not permitted inside the houses but there are plenty of protected outdoor spaces for those who enjoy a smoke. Guests and companions We welcome companions/partners. An additional cost to cover food ( breakfast, lunch and dinner) will be made of £400
